OneDrive for Business (OneDrive) is now available to active George Mason University employees at no cost. OneDrive provides 1TB (that's huge!) of cloud-based storage space for work-related files and collaboration.
As a Mason employee, you now have access to OneDrive as part of your Mason Office365 employee account and can begin using OneDrive starting today, October 18. OneDrive uses Office 365 to store work-related files in the cloud making it easy to share and collaborate from anywhere and from multiple devices. Active Mason employees automatically have an account and no sign-up is necessary. OneDrive is accessible via Outlook on the Web and mobile devices.
For more information about OneDrive including instructions, file types, proper usage, and frequently asked questions, visit office365.gmu.edu/OneDrive.
At this time, OneDrive accounts are active only for Mason employees. OneDrive accounts for students are expected to be released before the the end of the Fall 2016 semester.
If you need assistance related to OneDrive, contact the ITS Support Center at 703-993-8870 or via email at email@example.com.
Information Technology Services
Starting September 19, for approximately three weeks, road and lane closures will impact traffic on the north end of the Fairfax Campus:
Metro SafeTrack Surge #9:
On September 15, SafeTrack Surge #9 begins and will create significant delays for those commuting via Metrorail to the Vienna Metro station and then using the Mason Shuttles and CUE Bus. Orange Line trains will continuously single track between Vienna and West Falls Church Metro stations from September 15 through October 26. During this phase of repairs, there will be no train service between these stations on weekends, with Metrobus shuttle service available. For more info on the SafeTrack work, visit the WMATA website.
If using Metrorail, expect major delays and allow plenty of extra time to commute. For alternative transportation options to Mason, such as bus and carpooling, click here.
EagleBank Arena Event Traffic:
Several weeknight events at EagleBank Arena in October and November will have an impact on traffic around campus. Drivers are advised to allow extra time commuting to and from campus, and avoid the southern end of campus near Braddock Road and EagleBank Arena.
For more information about EagleBank Arena events, visit eaglebankarena.com.
